I never said I know more than someone else. You are telling half the story. The whole stupid Scott up the middle play after play in non-SEC action ruined LSU's chances to improve on the offense side of the ball early in the season. That crap don't work in the SEC, but somehow the coaches thought it would provide the best chances to win. They were wrong, so what?
I am doing no such thing, now you are down again to attacks on me. Anyone that implies Hatch was a freaking QB must have been watching something I wasn't. He was someone that ran the option, that is it. Show me where I said you said it. I said the whole subject was nonsense, it doesn't matter who said it. You certainly are defensive. Here is the quote. So what? That crap don't work in the SEC. Heck it wasn't working at Auburn. That high school QB stuff isn't going to work in the SEC. Period. Hatch wasn't going to win anything for anyone except where LSU was hugely overpowering on both sides of the ball. The Auburn game was going very bad before Lee even throw the first INT. At least we still have our hair.:thumb: Back to the MM-SIU pissing match, I don't see how you guys remember all that detail from games past. Once a game is over, I'm on to the next one. A lot of people are still upset about the loss to Tennessee in Miles' 2nd game. That just floors me.
MM and SIU You guys both have points that either can't be proven or are yet to be proven. SIU - you may be right about Lee possibly being better if he were allowed to start the first four games last year. It's a definite possiblity, but can't be proven. MM - Jefferson has shown real potential...but against sub-SEC level defenses. I feel real good about him, and the time to prove himself is now. Can we move on please?
I basically agree with you. I don't think Lee is crap and I don't think Jefferson is Joe Montana just yet Hopefully both have improved because the chances of you needing both of them over the next couple of years is high. IMHO I would say Lee doesn't have any lifelines left though. As far as the Billy's comment, pure 100% nonsense. LSU just didn't play well last year, Hatch was capable of running of the option very well, the problem is he had absolutely no desire to throw the ball. Jefferson wasn't ready, and even if he were he is eventually going to throw INTs, that is how they learn, they always learn threw INTs eventually.
