Billy Cannon has passed away

Hap Glaudi showed that run every single Haloween.

RIP Hap also.

 

I got Billy's autograph a few years ago. He was telling a story of how the championship team went back to tiger stadium for a game. He was on sidelines with his teammates. He tells one guy "I don't remember the golden girls looking this good when we played." The other guy says "Billy, we didn't have golden girls when we played."

 

Bet no one heard about this song before...

 

I remember hearing it when I was a little kid. I thought about searching for it but you beat me to it Mr. Youtube.

 

I heard it today on the radio (WWOZ) after work. I never heard it before.

 

I suspect #20 wasn't hurting in the getting laid department.
