There. That wasn't so hard. Going onto a rival's board and talking poop is probably not the best course of action if you want intelligent conversation about the game Sat. That's like telling haj islam sucks - you may or may not be right, but haj is now too pissed for any kind of discussion. (Maybe this isn't such a great analogy, but you get the picture). As for football, IMO both teams are pretty evenly matched. The edge goes to LSU because of D-line depth and Tiger Stadium. Take the same teams to M-town, WVU probably gets a slight edge. Two quick points, no inflamed passion, no need to be a kunt.
Yes you have played a "better" schedule so far. The teams you have played still havent been very good. We have to play the hand we are dealt. Most of our fans me including would love for us to get out of this awful conference we are in. Our players can do absolutely nothing about who they play on their schedule (as you guys can say the same thing). The only thing they can do is line up and beat everyone. Which I think we will do this year. If we can pull off this win against you guys no one in the big east should beat us. 12-0 Big East Champs and a BCS game.
It has been done in the past by teams ranked higher than LSU. I hope that they do not, and I think that Miles will do a good job promoting the correct perspective. I think that we have a defense that will match their offense up front. I do not expect us to shut them out, however. WV is a good team. Despite some teams (Ohio State, for example) always ending up in the top ten despite their performance during the previous year, to be in the top 25 makes you a team that should be taken seriously IMO.
I just want to give my personal opinion of the WVU vistor fanbase. For the most part they have been no different than many of us in their defense. Most of them are here supporting their team and giving good smack back to us. I want to thank them for showing up in strong numbers to support their team. That said : "Welcome to Death Valley" where the weak shall not survive. If the Tigers on the field don't eat you alive the Tigers in the stands will. No one and I mean no one comes into our house on a Saturday Nite and survives. Just pray that it is a good solid game with few injuries, and remember you will live to see another day. :geauxtige :LSU231: :geaux: And no this is no disrespect to the Eers and their Team, it is just a statement of fact. I think it will be a good game, in which our opponent will give us a good fight. The end result though will be a W for the Tigers.
Therefore our wins are more impressive. They are still better then anyone you have played. Disputing this just makes you look like a homer. Well, they could play like Boise, and dominate their weak opponents to make up for the weakness of the conference. But you didn't, so there will be doubters among us. You error is in thinking that anyone believes this game will be a pushover. It won't be, but most people are confident we will win, and that does not make you a bad team. Many people see something special in this team, and believe in the quality and depth of our starters and backups, since they heavily rotate everyone. It's not an either or situation. We believe we are better, and recruiting and game play has led us to this conclusion. Saturday will let us all know if we have extrapolated it correctly.
3 BCS Conference opponents, more than any other ranked team, two of them on the road. You opened with two cupcakes in Marshall and Coastal Carolina. We have yet to play our two cupcakes (Louisiana-Monroe and McNeese). Comparing Vanderbilt and State to your two cupcake opponents is why you are overconfident. I hope your team is, too.
