To get used to the noise WVU better have a 747 at take-off thrust on the practice field this week.

This qoute should say it all "Baton Rouge happens to be the worst place in the world for a visiting team. It's like being inside a drum." and who said that?

Yea "Bear" Bryant; you know that guy the gumps obsess over. Maybe you guys have played in hostile-ish environments, I promise you when Death Valley is hoping that is a hostile environment.

Anyone ever see that movie "The Express" about Ernie Davis? Man they made West Virginians out to be the biggest bunch of racist hillbillies.

Hahaha. I know what the WVU fans are thinking.

I'll post for them, but they actually didn't even play @WVU that season.

Hard to deny that record but look who our coaches were Charles McClendon and Bill Arnsparger. Not what you would call a shining era for LSU football.

Charlie Mac was a good coach. It wasn't an every year series until 64. LSU got caught on the short side of the wishbone era. Bama ran off about 10 years in a row against LSU Tennessee and Auburn during that same period. But after that it was a series where LSU struggled to defend their home turf. Can't explain it, it was truly a phenomena.

I guess playing at Marshall, having Coastal Carolina and Maryland at home is a big deal? Wasn't Maryland like 2-10 last year? With a win over James Madison, oh wait. Maybe I gave too much info.
