For me, the '88 Auburn game. We barely lost to OSU that year and got trounced by Miami, but the win over Auburn was one of the sweetest in my memory. Even today, I watch replays of it before every Auburn game.

Wasn't much of a turning point, but it was damn loud.

One of may favorite victories was the Rohan led win vs Tennessee in overtime. It showed Rohan was the man and that LSU was on the way back. That Tennessee team had a lot of talent. Talent that is still in the NFL. We had never been dominant in that series and it was doubly sweet since I live in Tennessee. Of course the SEC Championship game vs Tennessee the next year was awesome.

That game was huge and followed the UAB debacle from the previous week. Saban talked a lot about the losing psychology of the players when he took over. Sometimes a bounce here or there can help the mindset of the players the most. If they lose that game, maybe they don't beat Miss St in OT later in the year or finally end the Bama jinx.

My choice would be OU in '03. The fact that we played for the national championship in freakin New Orleans and dominated the game (even though the score didn't reflect it). It seemed like the longest game from the stands and that entire weekend was surreal.

During my lifetime, Auburn '95, Florida '97 and '07, and the Ohio St. game could be considered #1. The Florida '97 game may have been followed by a loss but it made the program on par with anyone, at least temporarily.

probably the most memorable game that i saw in person while a student at LSU. that was truly the point in recent history where we realized we were on That Level. day game, top 5 opponent, should've lost but we won it in dramatic fashion.

more importantly, this is the game where Tiger Fans changed to me. on this day we stopped treating big games/wins like upsets, we became The Favorite, and have been on that level since. the late UGA touchdown, other times, might have deflated the crowd. right then, we wouldn't stand for it. the stadium got even louder and devery roared out of the gate for the big return to set up the final touchdown.

    still gives me goosebumps.

For me it's the 1972 Ole Miss 17 to 16 win, the Auburn Earthquake game & thw Fla St. Oranges game in that order, because I was at all 3.

    It was 4.99 seconds.

And there was a time warp. I caught a glimpse of the starship Enterprise.

I have to say the I just read every one of these post... I will say the winner if there is one... is

    2003 LSU vs. Georgia...

I remember being at this game...

It was electric... It was a day game... and when Georgia scored that touchdown it did absolutely nothing to our fan base but energize it...

Tiger Stadium came alive... Tiger fans brought that place to life even more than it was... It was so on fire even from earlier that day at GameDay

The Touchdown from Matt Mauck to Skyler Green still sends goose bumps up and down my arms... i even tear up a little... This was a huge game... and did start our domination on College Football... We were no longer trying to upset anyone we were the team to beat...

I will say that the other special games would be
1997 Florida - we needed that huge win to be where we are today...
1999 Tennessee - the win in OT was huge
2000 Alabama - breaking that streak was crucial
The 2001 season - there were a bunch of great wins that were just needed the season was capped off by the SECCG and the Sugar both great wins...
