Gotta be the Flynn/Byrd play against Aub. That was freakin awesome!!! :tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye:
Ever since we were ranked number two in the preseason every play that LSU has played has been the most important play this year!!! You could make a case for Keiland Williams’ run against Va Tech, C. Steltz’s three interceptions against Miss St., Byrd’s catch against Auburn, or Hester’s fourth down conversion against Florida as being the number one plays this year! In all reality every little play that the defense stop the opposing team on fourth down or every first down we made can be seen as the greatest play this year!! We Are Going to New Orleans and playing Ohio State for the National Championship!!! I cannot ask for anything more!!!:geaux: :crystal: :geauxtige
lots of great answers in this thread....here are a couple game-changing penalties that i can distinctly remember in our losses: 1.) formation penalty on toliver's 22 yard screen pass to put us at the kentucky 3 ... instead we have to settle for a FG & kentucky follows with a FG to go into a 3rd OT 2.) penalty on doucet during the arkansas game -- 28-21 with 6 minutes left without out -- i think are-kansas comes down & scores 28-28 leaving us 2 minutes left to drive back down & kick the game-winning FG
