The Boston Globe reports that the Big Ten is intrested in adding Maryland and Georgia Tech so that the Big Ten can expose themselves and add big markets. So if this does happen who should the SEC add?
There should be a box for nobody. I think the SEC is fine as it is. we don;t need any more cupcakes and we don't need any more title contenders. If it ain't broke . . .
I have found multiple links I will post when I can get to a computer. But if you want to see it for yourself, just go to yahoo google or bing and type in Maryland and Georgia Tech to big ten boston globe.
So if the Big Ten goes to 14 the SEC does nothing. If the Big Ten makes a huge move like they are planning the Pac 12 will do something. And if those two conferences do something you best believe that the SEC wont be sitting on its hands. They will add teams that make sense money wise. And A&M, Missouri, North Carolina, and Maryland do that.
And you say Missouri and A&M are cupcakes? They will beat Vanderbilt, Tennesee, Kentucky, and Ole Miss, plus OOC games. And BOOM they are a bowl eligible. And over time they would get better.
where does it stop? You can add 100 more teams and make even more money. The SEC needs to add no one. if they water down the product the net value is less. SEC--dominating the BCS since year 1.
i was thinking something else? http://forums.tigerfan.com/tigers-den/104565-what-happens-if-expansion-happens-offseason.html http://forums.tigerfan.com/tigers-den/104634-guess-what-i-heard-today.html http://forums.tigerfan.com/college-sports-forum/104708-random-day.html
If the SEC adds A&M Missouri North Carolina and Maryland how does that water down the product? And if those four teams are added the SEC would still dominate the BCS.
