The same area is recruited by the Big East, ACC, and SEC in football. It hasn't done much for the Big East or ACC in that sport. The position that the "black belt", as you call it, is better because of the ethnicity of the population is a bigoted one.

Because they are leagues that emphasize basketball and they have done very well because of the regional ethnicity. Check out where the best track and field schools are, too . . . 22 of the last 24 championships went to the SEC. Florida State was another and only Stanford from outside the southeast.

Your inability to understand obvious demographics is not my problem.

And your inability to see how you hiding behind "demographics" to justify a bigoted position is not my problem.

Look, I posted evidence to support the notion that demographics plays a large part in SEC success. Let's see you prove your personal accusation of bigotry, Huckleberry. Nebraska has more scholarship football players from the Southeast than from Nebraska. Black scholarship players mostly. Nebraska signed 10 players from the southeast this February (all black) . . . and one player from Nebraska.

    Everybody sees it but you.

I am well aware of what Nebraska's roster looks like and where Lincoln, Nebraska is located. If you want to take the position that the south produces more talent, I would agree. But to say it's because of the color of the skin is short sighted, simplistic, stereotypical, and WRONG. We obviously are not going to agree on this. This discussion has been going on for hundreds of years and unfortunately it continues to this day.

Black athletes dominate football, basketball and track. It is neither bigoted nor stereotypical to state this fact. Neither is it so to point out the demographics of the southeastern states. That is another fact. A third fact is that players tend to not stray too far from home. Add it all up.

You are the one alleging bigotry here and you have not offered one single fact to support yourself.

Again, we are not going to agree on this. If you want to believe that the color of skin makes a difference I am not going to try and change your mind. I disagree. I am not going to waste any more time discussing this with someone who wants to use racial stereotypes to make his point. It is a FACT that you believe that the color of someone's skin makes them better at football, basketball, and track. I find that disturbing and sad.

Then explain why the majority of elite athletes are black. Pick any pro football team or basketball team. Any. They are all majority black.

I stand corrected. It is not bigotry. By definition it is racism.
