You'd have to know John Schnatter (papa john himself) to understand...he's an egotistical little sh*t who's had more plastic surgery than Dick Clark. (If you don't know who Dick Clark is, try Wikipedia). He's a hero in Louisville 'cause he's a hometown boy, but he's not a nice man and treats his franchisees like garbage. John just can't resist having his name and/or face on anything he can fit it on.
ya'll will need a bigger table, because i was pissed for 2 days after finding out i didn't get tix. set me a plate at that table.
We should start OUR own thread! "Who is NOT going to the 'Ship" and how many spots would you like at our bitter table???
Set a place for me at the bitter table. I have to teach school the day of the game, then I'm watching the game with one of my University of Texas co-workers because she picked LSU as her national champ in a fantasy league of some sort before the season. I did, however, take off January 8, because I want to watch the post-game pressers (only if we win) without worrying about being tired and be on TF all day on the 8th, regardless of the outcome...
A good friend of mine owns a Boston's (just like a Chili's/Bennigans) and he is very happy that the game is on a week night. He stared the they always draw in good weekend crowds, but it is an extra bonus for them to have a big game on a weeknight....... On a similar note, when it was announced that the Pat/Giants game was going to be shown on multiple networks, that hurt, as he was expecting larger than normal crowds to watch that game at his bar..... :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige
G, is that the Boston's on 121 around Lake Forest? We've never tried it. Is it good? If so, we have some friends from McKinney that we go out to dinner with a lot, and we can meet them there.
