I haven't liked this for several years now. College football's biggest game should be on a SATURDAY! People need to tailgate, have fun, not worry about working tomorrow! I missed work last year after the Sugar Bowl, will probably miss Jan 8 this year also. It destroys the atmosphere having it on Monday. The BIG GAME should be the first Saturday after New Years! We could do away with a couple of .com bowls and put the championship where it belongs, on a SATURDAY!

We get ig tb3, it is about money!!! But I would much rather a nc game on saturday! I could travel and recover virtually vacation free! But since normal folk can't get tickets unless they know somebody, were smart enough to do ticket reserve, or win them in some lucky azz drawing I guess it doesn't matter! Yes, bitter table for one!
TB3 is correct ... money, money, money. The NFL wildcard games are usually the weekend before the NCG. No way they want to go head up against the NFL and lose all that tv revenue.
