Bennett: Texas Lafell: LSU RJ : LSU All three of those are complete guesses. The more I thought about it, it was damn hard to figure out where these three cats are going. I could honestly see Bennett saying "LSU" or "Texas" or" A&M" just as easily as I could see RJ or Lafell saying "LSU" or "Florida."
Here is the reason I don't think we get Martellus Bennett( I could be dead wrong): If he were to choose LSU and announce tonight...Wouldn't that steal RP's thunder? I mean I don't think we get Bennett if RP isn't going here...So if MB says "LSU" tonight, that is pretty much a precursor to RP's announcing LSU... Basically, I think MB annouces A&M or UT tonight and RP announces LSU wed...
But do you REALL think that any of those other recruits nec. want to take a back seat to RP??? At this point, each and every one of them feel that they are a go-to guy. And rightfully so. Bennett, with Kory Hebert leaving because of injury reasons, is almost guaranteed of playing early for us.
Good point...MB probably doesn't want to take a back seat to RP.. But, if MB does come to LSU, I would move RP to 100% lock for LSU..
Think of this, add RP and Bennett to Lafell and RJ Jackson ...you're looking at formidable offensive potential, and I'm sure that's not lost on the recruits.
