That might not suck if there are flat wages (ULL and LSU pays the same). Just Division 1? Might not be much money. How much of a cut of NCAA profits does NFL get? NBA has G-League.
Cuz they wont still accept extra money? Liberal fairy tale vs. human nature, baw. I'm taking the over.
Cuz they dont have a choice? Like removing the age restrictions that allow those college sports to exist or creating a minor league system that they fully own? You run a business right? Would you do that?
They know (at least for the teams that do it all the time). Theyll have an assistant the agency can call. Curious to see what else comes out. Most of those teams (UNC, Duke, etc.) didnt do anything that will result in anything more than maybe a player missing one game.
Your white guilt overfloweth. Sack up. Except for Sean Miller. To think a calipari or a pitino is unaware is laughable. Expense reports submitted by players! How awesome and blatant is that.
Baseball has 11.7 scholarships for 35 players. Thats why many of the players come from higher income families and is a much whiter sport than it would be otherwise. Hard for an inner city kid to get by on a quarter baseball scholarship.
Yea. I was not clear. I have no problem with the MLB minor league system. You can go pro out of high school...if you're good enough. The NFL and NBA make you go to college first, at least for a while. They utilize the NCAA as a free minor league system. That's why they should pay the athletes and not the schools. That seems to be what the B ball scandal seems to be about, but they shouldn't be steering kids to certain programs only.
