Congrats to Glen Davis tonight. 1st NBA Start and he looked powerful in the lane at times with some nice offensive boards and putbacks. They pulled him in the 4th when the game was on the line but he will get his chance to show up in the clutch. Celtics pulled away and beat the Kings.

16pts, 9reb, and 10-10 from the foul line.

I will be the first to admitt that I did not think Big Baby had a future in the NBA. I said all along that I HOPED AND PRAYED that the kid would be successfull because he has a great personality and deserves to do well BUT I just did not feel that his skill set would fit into the NBA.

With that said, one start and one helluva game does not mean he will have an all-star career or even a successful career but I hope last night is an indication that I was wrong because he is in a great situation playing along 3 stars where he can become a solid role player and contribute to a good team.

I wish Big Baby all the best.

He played really well. His success will be determined by the player's around him. If his team has no post presence he won't be effective and vice versa. He has a mid range jumper which puts him a step ahead of everyone.

I have always seen him as a Barkley type guy... thought he was wasted at center at LSU...

He has great offensive talent. I knew that if a team would give him a chance, that he would succeed. He can hit the close jumper, has a close-fadeaway, and can back you down. He dominated the SEC with those moves and will get his share of points in the NBA if he gets a chance.

Great to hear about his success.

I am surprised there is a thread about Big Baby and Deek hasn't made a negative comment. Time will tell on that one.

Glad to see him do well. Became a fan of his ever since our OOC matchup a few years back.

I was at that LSU hame game with my mother-in-law and her buckeye husband. That was a great game and I think it went to OT. tOSU knocked down the 3-ball all night. Brandon Bass saved the day.

Is the thread about Coach Brady? Didn't think so.
