Copied from the Tigers in NBA playoffs thread From the Boston Globe: Temple figured prominently There are some other good quotes in the article and the story of Big Baby's journey is always good to read about :thumb:
thanks for posting the thread and the you tube piece - i missed it last night and have not had a chance to see any highlights. how about CT2's support for GD through the years - says alot about the character of that man.
Me too, but I'm happy for Davis. Also happy to see CT there to celebrate and support him, good for both of them. Now Geaux Magic!!!!!!
Awesome shot! Big Baby has stepped it up big time in KG's absence. He scored 5 of the last 6 for the Celtics last night. Did you guys see Dwight Howard saying "get the f@*K out of here" when the Celtics were celebrating. Apparently they didnt appreciate baby's celebration.
Then they should have done something to stop him...during the game. You usually see the worst of people in tough losses like these like the last Mavs-Nuggets game.
damn, i dont even want to talk about that, that series is over, and it sucks because im a mavs fan, and i have watched this team go from one of the worst in the league, to one of the best and then slip from a potential title a few years ago to being just another middle of the road team. When the mavs traded Devin Harris and co. for Jason Kidd and co. i couldnt believe it. If we still had Devin, the mavs would be so much better than with jason kidd. Devin's ability to penetrate and score or kick is what we are missing other than more athletes in the paint. Oh and by the way, Carmello was fouled, i have no clue what that ref was doing over there. What is it going to take to get a foul called in that situation. If you foul the guy too hard they are going to call flagrant which is a shot and the ball, if you dont foul him hard they dont call it. Wright should have never gave up on d, but that call has to be made.
It could have had something to do with Big Baby screaming "Mother******s" about 20 times after he made the shot. Not exactly his shining moment after his shining moment.
