I was watching a good bit of this until it was a blowout. Celtics vs Trailblazers. I turned it on later to see the Boston bench played so poorly that coach had to put the starters back in midway through the 4th quarter. During a timeout with the starters still in, Garnett had to pull him by the arm to get him to listen in on what the coach was trying to tell the team, he pulled away and left in a sort of tantrum and proceeded to sit on the end of the bench. He was in tears. Gave new meaning to his nickname, big baby. I hope he's ok. It wasn't a pretty site.
He was one of these at LSU, too. No one saw it, because things went well, but he isn't always the most gracious teammate.
I candle handle this a lot better than I could him taking ridiculous 20 foot jumpers. He'll be alright and it will make him a better teammate.
the one thing I can say to defend Glen in this instance is that KG is a world renown A-Hole when it comes to his teammates, so who knows what he told him. This is the same guy who damn near broke the face of one of his own teammates in practice back in Minnesota.
Did you ever really respect a millionaire thug who cries over a game that we all played atleast once as a child? The guys a drama queen same as the rest of the NBA... that's one sport I wouldn't mind seeing being cancelled.
Right. A thug Big Baby is not. He's a guy that grew up poor in a single parent setting and likely gets emotional b/c of lack of support and guidance during his childhood. Give him a break. He seems like a good guy who feels responsible about his quality of play and about how he is perceived by his teammates, thus his emotional response after being chastised by the teams top player.
