That's because the Saints had no talent whatsoever on defense. The Flex was a Dick Nolan creation that he brought with him from Dallas. Course he had guys like Chuck Howley, Leroy Jordan and Randy White running it in Big D. In the Big Easy, he had Joe Campbell, Mike Fultz and Glenn Redd.

    Dear Mr. Duckie:
I am a half ass/coon ass, Cajun. Part of me was born in Port Arthur, Texas but my other half is from St. Martinville Parish.
I only wish you were playing this game in Baton Rouge. Its a gameday experience you will never forget, or I should say remember. Depending on how much LSU whiskey you drink. They don't call it "Death Valley" for nothing. I do know one thing for sure, never seen the Tigers show up at a game they weren't ready to fight or ready to win, so you better bring your AWR, that's "Azz Whoopin Repellent."
As for the Big 12 Referee's, they're used to very fast games, and they do a great job, unless your from the Big 12 and you have let the Big 12 Commisioner know your leaving the conference, ie..Nebraska, Colorado, and soon to happen to my Alma Mater Texas A&M.
To summarize: Tell the ducks to bring their "A" game, the Tigers are hungry!

"God have mercy on my enemy's, because I won't"

Not sure who you're directing this post to. College Station...... ;) Ever street is named after a "Bush" or a Bush dog or a Bush........ LOL

I think only Kyle and the Bush library are taller than a local tree. Man how did you make it in that environment for four years? Graduate early?

I use to work with A&M good people, but the area is pretty depressing. Not my kind of place. Also, not exactly a place that's easy to get to. Sort of the PAC-12 version of WSU.

I would expect the Big 12 refs to do their job professionally but I guess human element is always a factor. Any chance that the Big 12 is upset with the SEC courting A&M and favors Oregon with a couple of big calls that ultimately decides the game?

I don't think there's anything to worry about although a simple phantom holding call can always negate a game-changing TD.

The Cotton Bowl committee is sponsoring the game, so Big 12 officials, from the Dallas area and it wouldn't surprise me if it was the same crew that officiated the Cotton Bowl last year. IMO the Big 12 officials are the best in the NCAA. Hope I didn't jinx it.

Just ask Nebraska about this. Once they announced they were leaving all hell broke loose. Retaliation, hope not, but possible.

That reminds me, what time is kickoff? The whole country is waiting to watch this game. I hope the attorney's get these boys through all this mess so we can watch a dam fine football game.
