Can we get a practice thread this week, keeping us updated on the QB situation on the practice field? Thanks Bro
I wouldnt worry to much. IF LSU is making a change at a key position (QB wink wink) we wont know until the first series of the game. Miles would be bone headed to play that hand during the week against an SEC opponent. It will be the usual coach speak all week (Which I am fine with). I have to admit I find it Ironic (Not pointing this statement at you by the way) everyone is just clamoring for Jarrett Lee. The is the same guy people booed mercifully just last year in the La Tech game... I am one that would like to see something different, but just find it somewhat ironic.
Heh! I hear ya! I guess it's true what they say, "The most popular player on the team is the backup QB".
No, I understand. I am not swaying one way or the other on the QB situation. If I had the answers and saw the practice’s & I could make an educated choice at who I want back there, then I would….. but I haven’t, I wont, and I cant. I can only dish my opinion which doesn’t mean squat, which is chalk Saturday night up to just being the worst night of Jefferson's college career and move forward with him working on getting better and staying as our starting QB………..ONLY because what I have seen from the 2 of them, I feel more comfortable with Jefferson behind center. Although, I am definitely not opposed to seeing both qb’s getting some serious PT and snaps in the first couple series…..just to know! I hope les does not release any information on the starting QB before game time, I am more interested in how the rest of the team is reacting. I want to know if J-Lee is working better with the 1st team, if his touch is more in tune with what our receivers are looking for and the guys who get the first hand look at J-Lee & JJ and their progress so much more than any of us do (THE LSU FOOTBALL TEAM) have any feelings on who should be getting the bulk of the snaps out there. They(LSU FOOTBALL PLAYERS) want this team to be successful at all costs just as much as we do. They are the ones who have to deal with outcome, take the good, the bad, the ugly, and the pretty performances.
This is true, however mostly when there's a problem with the starter. Nobody heard any Florida fans calling for Brantley while Tebow was turning water to wine... er, uh... I mean plays to yardage.
He is a wealth of knowledge, knows his sh!t and always has the inside scoop Even if he is a Utah Jazz fan :yelwink2:
