How can you put the Jazz that low? Got to respect one of if not the hottest team in the league over the past 2 months. :thumb: They have only lost 3 games since the 31st of December (18-3 over that span), 9-1 the last 10 games, almost unbeatable at home with a 12 game win streak, and the Jazz are usually very strong while closing out the regualr season. Based on results so far and the momentum of the individual teams: 1. Lakers--Best conference record and on a 6 game win streak. (I hate the Lakers) 2. Hornets--I know some feel they will sputter but they have shown they are for real time and time again 3. Jazz--3nd best conference record and currently 4th in the West and no signs of slowing down along with the other reasons I posted above 4. Spurs--Would be higher but just getting Ginobli back. 5. Rockets--2nd hottest team in the West over the last 2 months 6. Suns--Need to see what Shaq can do in the new offense 7. Mavs--Showing some weaknesses over the last couple of weeks, however could be higher being tied with the best conference record. 8. Nuggets--Solid team all around
now now, Jazz guy. I know you love your Jazz and with good reason, but no reason to lie... they don't have the 3rd best record in the West. lol Phoenix, LA, San Antonio, Hornets, Mavs edit. those aren't my rankings... lol just the teams better in the standings than utah.
when you mean conference, do you mean overall? or against West teams? if you mean against west teams, then they might be 3rd.
You are right I am a Jazz guy who has been reading about the Rockets for months now so it is my time to represent since not many if any get to see the Jazz play until the playoffs. And no, I said conference record not NBA record. Only the Lakers and Mavs have better records against the West teams.
Thank God. j/k. nah, I like watching the Jazz play. I just really, really, really, really dislike Okur.
11 in a row. that was a beatdown. Someone tell Tyson Chandler that if he wants to be a thug and fight, he needs to back it up on the court, too. Yao dominated his Compton, punk ass. In this streak, we've beaten Portland, San Antonio and now the Bees. we're making a push, folks. the Hornets committed suicide in this Bobby Jackson and here's why. A Hornet fan next to me explained the team was bitching to his friends abotu how horrible a deal it was, so I asked him why and he explained why. (someone correct me if this is wrong. I am just reciting what I was told). The Hornets won 9 in a row from Jan 11-28, then Jackson had a minor injury for 3 games and they lost 3 straight. Then he got back and they won 5-6 in a row, then they traded him and they got crushed tonight. Fans said he was the glue of the team. A lot in the building thought thye got the bad end of the deal.
Tomm will be a big game for them... if they come out and get dominated in San Antonio, people will begin to wonder "hummm..." about them.
Clair, I think you were sitting by a bandwagon fan who didn't know what he is talking about. Jackson never started, averaged 19 minutes a game, and that number would have been way lower at the end of the season with Pargo taking his rotation. I doubt he was the glue for the team.
