    Clair has nothing against LA teams, he is like many others who have followed their teams when he was young and never lost his loyalty. Same for me, the Jazz was my team since I could rememebr and LA had no pro basketball teams when I was young. I still pull for the Hornets 2nd and the Saints 1st because that was who I was with from the beginning and I couldn't change that if I tried.

    Did you follow the Jazz from New Orleans to Utah? My memory of Pro b-ball does not pre-date the NO Jazz but I was a huge fan when I was a kid.

    No, I am 25 so that isn't possible. However, as a kid I knew where the Jazz came from and the greatest LSU player in history played for them.

    Along with those reasons and the fact that you could actually catch a Jazz game on TV when I was young helped. When I saw the how the Jazz played with Malone, 2 mean little white boys, and a fiery coach Sloan I was hooked. It also helped that Malone was from LA. So you could say one of my main reasons was based on their LA roots.

    spot on. I am not a follower. I won't go where the sheep leader leads me. I liked the Rockets and Magic as a kid (because of T-Mac) and that is who I will roll with.

    I cheer for the Hornets pretty much every other game (despite my rant 2 weeks ago lol), and I will work for the team this summer.

    Old habits are just hard to break. :)

    OH NO... DAVID WEST... :bncry::bncry:

    We can only hope the Hornets shut down Alston as bad as they did last time we met, to the tune of 25+ points

    Clair I just have to say in the last month or so Detroit has beat down Phoenix, Dallas, San Antonio, Denver, New Orleans, Portland, Seattle, which are western conference teams.

    Just pointing that out:D

    the way they played against the Hornets the other day shows they're the best team in the East... It's not all that close, either. I hope they ram-sack the Cel-Dicks.

    They put to much into playing the Celtics, it takes them out of their game plan.
