they may still go one and out. I am not sold they will sweep through the playoffs, etc... the west is just that good. New Orleans, San Antonio, Utah, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, Lakers 3 of the above will be 1 and done. round peg meet square hole. This is easily the best Rockets team since Hakeem, though.
Well even last year you could see the Rockets making great strides in the playoffs, even with the loss in that grueling series.
if we stay No. 1 and play GS, I think we take them easily. I think we can beat Dallas fairly easily. I think we can beat New Orleans in a long series and can beat Utah in a long series. any other matchup is a complete toss-up.
What you have to like is the fact that the Rockets beat the Lakers by double digits and T-Mac probably had his worst game of the season. That's eye catching.
people who don't watch a lot think T-Mac is still the flashy 30+ per game, every game guy. He is less of a scorer, but a much betterp layer. He is a great defender now and has bought in completely. That takes a ton of pressure off, because before if McGrady was off, the ship would sink instantly.
I'm just going to go ahead and assume they will win the rest of their games. I'm tired of keeping tack, it's depressing. Hopefully they don't use it all up before the post season. It would be mighty bad to go on this streak and then leave the playoffs early.
Ok. I'm impressed. 22 wins in a row in this year's Western Conference is pretty impressive. However, I think they'll lose Tuesday night to the Celtics and then come back to reality. Getting out of the 1st round in the West will be tough for anyone. I don't expect the Rockets to do that. If they do, I'll be first in line at the CROW BUFFET. :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
The big question is, if they get there, will they play their starters in a meaningless final game of the season to break the record.
