Key word there .... “stop”. Mask do serve as a barrier. The data is Japan. 125 Million folk, 345 deaths and only 13000 cases. So ... didn’t stop it, but mask certainly decreased it. If anything, the Japan Experience shows that TEST don’t do squat but produce hysteria. Japan has done 1/10th the testing per million as the US.
Or that the vast majority of Japanese people are very healthy and they shook this shit off with minor symptoms.
And I can point to Taiwan who densest use masks like the Japanese and only has 6 total deaths. Actually, the data is the data. There have been specific tests on mask with regard to COVID19 and they do not support that. They even used the M95 masks. It could be Japan is an island. It could be they aren't inflating the numbers like most everyone else. It could be genetic. It could be lifestyle. It could be MANY things. Its like saying COVID hates black people when blacks have higher COVID death rates. Show me a study on Joe Blows cloth mask preventing COVID19 and ill believe it.
For japs, it's all about diet. Large in part, a plant based diet. This is why they are one of the oldest living cultures. And they wear mask
Japan is an island. So is Manhattan. Tokyo is a huge international city. Just like New York with people from all over the world flying in and out and mingling with the Japanese population.
