Don't disagree at all that Brady has brought some skills and talent to the offensive staff. Of course we are paying him to contribute. How much we don't know. I would guess he and E worked together in the spring and fall very well together and learned from each other. I think they compliment each other equally which has given us what we are seeing now. JMHO
Can't believe I'm going to do this, but here it goes. You do realize that he didn't install a new offense, right? He just decided to call the passing plays that Miles/Cameron refused to and it had an instant impact. A little balance goes along way in loosening a defense that's cheating up to stop the run. I know he added in a few wrinkles of his own, but they were based on concepts from Miles' copy of Bo Schembechler's playbook. I can't help but wonder the kinds of numbers Fournette would have put up if he weren't constantly having to run into 11 man fronts. Was it 2016 that he just missed 2k yards rushing by less than 100 yards? And that was with the one game being cancelled because of weather. But I digress... /sigh
And another game where Mile's goat headed stubborness in continually pounding LF7 into a stacked front limited him to 32 yards. Goodbye Mr Heisman.
Well you missed the whole point of my post. Once again if you are told the day O gets the interim head coaching job 4 games into the season; "Hey Steve tomorrow you are now my OC go run my offense we got a game in 3 days". Of course he had only time to put in a few passing wrinkles but what else did he have time to do? OK coach Fanatic you tell me how do you install what you would like to do on offense with a team that has practiced for the last 2 to 3 years running a certain offense? This is not a trick qestion tell me how you install a new passing offense with such a team In such a short time? Will wait for your answer.
You obviously don't. I think he did a great job in his interim year because he had to use that dinosaur of a playbook Miles left behind. He just called a more balanced game. Instead of running 99% of the time, he made us a tad more unpredictable by mixing up the run/pass ratio and that had an immediate impact.
That's what I see too. It's why I keep posting the link to his stats as interim OC in 2016. I don't understand why others here can't see the good job E did back then and completely dimiss him as part of this years success.
Like you and that Mond Bullshit ... Just watched Auburn vs A&M ... Twice Watched it the second time to convince myself that CaCa can’t be this fullo-shite Mond’s failure to hit wide open receivers and elude pressure against Auburn shows how far A&M is behind LSU ... If you could tell me THE EXACT PLAYS AND TIMES IN THE GAME when Mond sent you into Paparazzi Heaven, I’d appreciate it ... I just don’t see him as more than a mediocre player ... And one lousy decent run for a big gainer ... Unacceptable Auburn middle was open all game long and Mond had his best success there but did not convert on crucial downs (THATS NOT BEING A PRESSURE KING) ... You starting to remind me of Redd Fox
