wouldnt to hear from TF their thoughts on this. College and Pros.
    Whos the best you ever.

I will go ahead and say Barry Sanders over my second choice of Bo Jackson.

College Herschel Walker, Pro's Walter Payton. I like Sanders a lot, but Payton was a devastating running back that would run through people, while Sanders was more of an elusive type back, just personal preference honestly.

I'll go with a top 3, in order, and I feel there is very little gap between the three:

    1. Sanders
    2. Payton
    3. Jim Brown

Jackson belongs in a separate category, that of an abbreviated career (you could almost put Sanders and Brown there too, since they no doubt had a few great years left in them when they walked away):

    1. Bo Jackson
    2. Gayle Sayers

I am so glad no one has mentioned Emmit Smith. How many yards would Walter Payton have if he ran behind Emmit's line?

There is absolutely NO QUESTION about it:

    BARRY SANDERS.

    End of discussion.

Barry had too many unnecessary tackle for losses. While I don't put Emmitt at the top, he is certainly top 10. I would have to go with Jim Brown. The video on him is unreal. He simply crushed people but could also get around them.

OJ would be number one if the category were "best running back to stab his wife and her boyfriend to death"

True, but don't sell him short on talent. He was amazing to watch.

Bo Jackson and Jim Brown. Both these guys absolutely destroyed people. 1A and 1B in my opinion.

Barry Sanders and Walter Payton 2A & 2B.
