26 views and no responses. I thought this would be a nice change of pace from the Miles arguments.

I thought this was a relevant LSU football topic. Oh well.

Calm down it is a regular slow Sunday. :hihi:

I would go with Eric Reid at SS/LB. Going to be the perfect size and a very smart player. High class as you can get so I do not see him getting into any trouble or have any red flags for NFL teams. Same with DE Jordan Allen.

Evan Washington seems to have the tools to have a nice career.

My sleeper will be LB Luke Muncie.

    :D
Eric Reid is a good pick. I saw him at Wal-Mart one day and he is huge. He could easily grow into a LB at the next level. As for Muncie, I just hope he isn't Kyle Prater 2.0.

Dont see the Prater connection really because if Muncie struggles it won't be for the same reasons. Prater was small for a Chavis defense and really had an uphill battle. Muncie is taller and has the frame to bulk up without losing speed.

Coming out of high school they were both white with good 40 times listed on Rivals. Even if he never starts, hopefully he will be quality depth and a good special teams guy with size and speed.

Oh why didn't I think of that.

Really go look at their HS films and you won't see too many similarities except for being white. Muncie was faster and attacked instead of reacting like Prater and the size has already been mentioned. Recent news on Muncie said he ran a 4.27 but I never put much stock into 40 times but the film tells the story. Not saying he is a shoe in by any means but a has a higher ceiling than Prater and they don't resemble each other much.

DJ Welter probably has the best LB instincts out of all the guys we had in the class. He could be our most consistent LB down the road.
