Yeah I have no clue as to why people are saying Addai, if they are strictly asking which LSU player performed the best while at LSU. If that's the case, Addai was good but would not make even a top 10 list. It would be players such as what JohnLSU just listed (minus Green, Williams and maybe Henderson).

    I would list:

    1. Glenn Dorsey
    2. LaRon Landry
    3. Marcus Spears
    4. Michael Clayton
    5. Corey Webster
    6. Chad Lavalais
    7. Andrew Whitworth
    8. Ben Wilkerson
    9. Dwayne Bowe
    10. JaMarcus Russell/Ali Highsmith (tie)

Maybe we need clarification as to the thread author's intent.

Gotta be between JaMarcus Russell and Dorsey. Since Dorseys from my HS. I got to give him the nod. He's gonna be a freakin terror in the NFL. As for why, do I really have to say?

    Banks played for the 49ers.
Cecil Collins is the best to never go pro.

Dorsey is a prime example of a reason that a hot junior shouldn't always go pro, just because he has a shot. Michael Clayton would have been All-Everything his senior season if he has stayed. Now he doesn't even make an LSU All-American list, while Dorsey is an All-American, and is packing four or five national awards.

His NFL draft stock couldn't be higher. Just one extra year of exposure made a ton of difference.

Yes, Spears....probably second on my list of favorites that I got to watch next to James. Curious why James doesn't make your list??

    btw...nice list :thumb:

Cecil did a stint with the Dolphins, drafted out of McNeese in the 5th round.

I went back to players that were on the 03 team. I thought the original thread asked for the past 5 years.
