Even little Chris could dunk. His 3's were a little sweeter though.
My fondest memory of Chris Jackson? The drink specials at the bars around campus based on how many CJ would score in any one game; the more he'd score, the cheaper the drinks. :hihi:
I was at that game, too. Never forget it. So three pages in and no mention of Stromile? How about this one on our very own Tyrus Thomas: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MaBHj0xhF3Y Stromile NBA Highlights: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNn1McpKbyY I'm having some trouble finding LSU highlights, but I know they exist. I've seen some pretty hellacious dunks of his in person at the PMAC. Still looking...
Better than whats her name at Tennessee. The thing those old vids bring back is how the crowd was at those games. I don't recall any game while I was going to school there in the mid 80's as anything like they are now. I'd like to see that atmosphere again.
It's not exactly like I described, Sims took a rebound down court that Bailey dunked back in. The actual dunk wasn't that impressive, but at the time it was awesome. See this video at the 2:56 mark of the play. Notice the crowd, hear the crowd, the LSU bench going crazy after the dunk, and the shot of Bailey running back down court. I still get chills. Ooops. I remember this thread... it's about DUNKS not DRUNKS... thanks for the link though, that's incredible!!!
Don't you love seeing that classy Coach Dana Kirk barely slap Dale Brown's hand? What a great upset and run by that LSU team!
