So far this season the Tigers have struggled with 2 SEC opponents, Vandy and MSU. Both schools obviously have less talent than LSU, but fought us to the wire. It seems like every year the recruiting services rate our talent in the top 5, except for LM's first class in '05 (and his star recruit in that one flamed out). So why have we struggled last season and the first 1/3 of this one? Are other schools just better at coaching up their players?:eek:ldskule:

The year after Florida won the national championship in 06, UF lost 4 games. I don't think any Florida fans were questioning Urban Meyer.

    Yawn..

Just give the youngsters time to grow up. We''re a year away from being dominant again.

10 posts and 10 overt insults and shots at our head coach, Mr. Bammer poser. You've got about 1 more post to start talking serious football or you will go the way of all flamers.

And if they are, in fact, regular posters, we can debate with them. But this guy is on one track, and that is an anti-Miles, pro-Saban track.

    He's a bore.

Yes but most posters here don't spend 100% of their posts trying to degrade, make fun of, and spin the slow start to try and chide the fans. I'm sure when Saban stumbles, there will be those from our fan base over on the Tide forum ready to razz the Bammers as well. See how long they last on that board.

He hasn't been deleted or given any infractions, just warned, K. We don't care about unpopular opinions here. I just think this guy is a rival pulling our chain. I've seen the MO too many times. But hey, if you want him, he's yours to enjoy.

So your point is that he has to be a regular poster to give his (negative) opinion? Maybe, just maybe, he is like I was back in 2007. I was a lurker who finally joined because I wanted to vent my frustrations w/ how the Bama game was going. Several of the regulars red x'd me and called me a troll.

I learned my lesson and became a cheerleader and got along great after that. I consider everyone here to be fellow Tiger friends now. The base reason we are all here is because we are passionate about LSU and LSU sports.

I have exchanged several PM's w/ him and I believe him when he says he graduated from LSU in 71 and is a passionate fan. I also agree that coming out firing like he has does not make a very positive introduction. Much of what he says is true, he just doesn't have the cred to meet w/ ya'll's (can you make a contraction possessive like that? ) approval.

There are many people on this board who refuse to be objective about the performance of the team the last 16 months. This team has not played to their potential. Ultimately, that falls on the coach. He has my full support and I hope/believe that he can get us back to dominating opponents very shortly. I also believe that they are making strides in that direction. I do not want him replaced. I am tickled that we are 4-0. I am not tickled with how we have looked doing it. I am, like many here, ready to see the swagger we had when we smashed VT.
