Best College Football Team Ever

Who would get your vote as the best team in college football history.

 

Of my lifetime, 1995 Nebraska or 2001 Miami.

 

In my lifetime, Bud Wilkinson's 1955 and 1956 Oklahoma teams - consecutive undefeated and untied seasons was really something in that era.

In history - 1924 Notre Dame - any team that could inspire Grantland Rice to write the way he did about the Four Horsemen had to be great.

 

I agree... both were my top picks

 

1995 Nebraska wheew they were lights out

 

As I recall, those teams were outweighed most every game, but their speed was amazing for the times. Probably gave meaning to the term, "Speed Kills."

 

1995 Nebraska without a doubt, man those guys were tough!

Huskers is the right school, but the 71 team was an incredible team in an incredible era.

 

No question the 71 Neb. team was a great one.
