I've eaten at Cheeburger Cheeburger a couple of times since this thread was started and I have to say Baton Rouge has a new burger champion.

They are awesome. They have something like 6 different size burgers including a 1 pounder.

PS- Edit- THe largest one I can eat is their 1/3 pounder, the "Semi-Serious"

I haven't had a burger at Ben's yet. Last time I went, I just stuck with the half yards and cheese fries( healthy huh?).

I still think Burger House in Dallas on Hillcrest has the best burger in town....

I had the 10 oz. "Serious" the other night, Brett...however, my brother-in-law
and I both agree that we think that the 20 oz. is quite doable if you go in there hungry.

J Alexanders does many things very well so this doesn't surprise me. I bet it was good.

Cheeburger-Cheeburger is overrated. I went in there after eating a can of tuna and about 1/4 jar of peanut butter and pollished off the 3/4 pounder w/o a problem. Could've easily done the pounder. The burger was better than McDonalds, Wendy's, etc., however, there are two places in Cottonport and Plaucheville, each of which have a population of about 3000 max, that both make better burgers for half the price.

I got the 3/4 pounder and water and the bill was $9.00. the range for standard cheeseburgers are around $6.00-$10.00. That's only for the burger.

OK I went to cheeseburger cheeseburger yesterday and I had a burger and the fries and a chocolate milkshake and it cost me $14.00 I had the small fries the Semi-Serious burger and a regular chocolate milkshake. My favorite part was the milkshake! The burger was ok but not better than Port o call's.
The fries were ok, but Chili's makes fries like that and they are better.
Apparently if you can eat the "famous pounder" you get your picture taken and its put on a board with the other winners. I give it two stars. **
