Saturday 10:00 a.m.- Miles is leaving 12:00 p.m.- Miles is staying 3:00-7 p.m.- Tigers beat Tennessee 7:00-10:30 p.m.- WVU and OU lose Sunday: 12:00 p.m.- Polls come out, LSU is No. 2 7:00 p.m.- It's official. LSU/Ohio State Taking all things into consideration, were those the best 36 hours in LSU history?
I see we already have 2 votes against. Could those that say no please give their example of a better 36 hour period?
Well I projected us being pretty close to OSU, I just couldn't believe the lack of love for VTech. They were simply forgotten. Goes to show you the power of the pundits. If you remember they never ever said Vtech when speaking of teams deserving of a shot at the BCS title game.
any team that loses by 40 points to someone in the course of a season doesn't deserve to be there, so that was rightfully done. how were they ahead of LSU in the computers, bro? LSU got way more big wins than them.
I voted No. Pick any 36 hour period that encompasses the '03 national Championship victory against Oklahoma. That by far was better than this past weekend. Although truly great for LSU, that victory for LSU's second national championship was far better. :crystal:
we agree to disagree, i guess. to me, getting the coach long-term, getting the SEC, and getting a spot to play for title #2 is worth more than winning title #1. a lot of it has to do with getting the coach long-term, b/c I know what having Miles here for 5-10 more years means in terms of the programs success.
I voted yes and I've been around the block a couple of times. I hope we don't see a 36 hour period like it anytime soon.
