Ahhh, I see this is the 3 stooges game thread. I am convinced that if they got real close and put their ears together they could make a little tunnel.
You can sue anybody for anything but if it's frivolous it will likely be thrown out of court by the judge. If a law was to be passed holding gun manufacturers liable then the burden of proof for damageswould be put on them. It wouldn't take long for multimillion dollar judgements to drive them out of business. That's what the gun grabbing liberal crowd wants.
So let me get this straight, this thread is about Bernie trying to undo what can already be done, and people are upset?
You don't understand. I could sue Brett because I am offended by one of your posts but it wout be frivolous and no judge would let it gety to court. If a law was passed holding forum owners liable for what the members posted I could sue and win.
What if it's not frivolous? Who makes that determination? Why should they get special treatment? Is Coca Cola protected from frivolous lawsuits? Walmart? Starbucks? Sears? DeWalt?
Didn't some idiot sue RedBull because he jumped off of a roof and it didn't "give him wings" that is the type of shit @Bengal B is talking about.
But that was thrown out correct because it's bullshit. Why is the gun manufacturer special? Does this law exist for them only?
