    Yea I have seen it I am. from Bastrop and I think it is great.
    finally get to follow him again can't wait till next year.

    Wouldn't he count against last year's total if he is on scholly for the spring semester?

    nope, Barksdale did the same thing last year....not sure how they handle the scholly though??? Maybe he doesnt get it until Fall....or maybe it doesnt matter as long as its 2008???

    I am pretty sure his scholly counts towards the 08 class, not the 07 class, which means we are about to get a huge boost in the recruiting polls

    actually it works out best when this happens as far as the recruiting rankings as that type of player counts twice (in consecutive years)

    I guess I was thinking that if we had a scholly open from last year, he could use that and count against the '07 class, leaving another spot open in '08.

    Which is what I'm hoping for...I don't CARE about the ratings. This will free up another spot, and hopefully, we can land a nice defensive prospect. Either way, Benton will be a Tiger!:tigereye:
