So I went ahead and dug a little further to see if any of the current Republicans raised issue with the security measures taken during any of those attacks and guess what? Not a single one of them raised an issue about security concerns, nor were there congressional hearings....even from the Democrats. It goes like this bitch: January 22, 2002 - Calcutta, India - Gunmen associated with Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami attacked the US consulate killing 5. June 14, 2002 - Karachi, Pakistan - Suicide bomber connected to Al Queda attacks the US consulate killing 12 and injuring 51. October 12, 2002 - Denpasar, Indonesia - US diplomatic offices bombed as part of a string of "Bali Bombings." No fatalities. February 28, 2003 - Islamabad, Pakistan - Several gunmen open fire on the US Embassy, killing 2. May 12, 2003 - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - Armed Al Queda terrorists storm the diplomatic compound, killing 36 people including 9 Americans, then committed suicide by detonating a truck bomb. July 30, 2004 - Tashkent, Uzbekistan - A suicide bomber from the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan attack the US embassy, killing 2. 98 total deaths and twice embassies were attacked on multiple occasions and not one congressional hearing, not one outcry of concern by the Republicans. Why didn't they send the reinforcements? Why didn't they get the jets there in time? Why didn't they learn from their mistakes and better secure the ones that were attacked on numerous occasions?
