That this country provides the opportunity to be what you want to be not a guarantee at others expense. If you work hard you should reap the benefit not have it taken and spread to those that expect handouts.
What part of dead is a lie? What part of the numerous email requests for additional security over the months prior to the attack were a lie? If they want to blame it on lack of funds I have the solution. Take half of the presidents secret service detail and send them next time. He doesn't need all of that firepower anyway. If somebody did put a bullet in his ass, they'd be doing the country a favor. Even better, take all the secret service details from the cabinet members and ex- presidents and send them to hot spot embassies/ consulates.
It's a goddamn lie that Clinton and Obama "didn't give a shit" about the ambassador or his staff. Mistakes were made but far below Clinton's level or Obama's. Even then, it wasn't because nobody "gave a shit". It was because ambassador Stevens chose to use the Benghazi consulate even though it was temporary and not secured like a permanent embassy. The CIA compound was too far away to provide proper security.
So he chose to go to Benghazi on his own? He wasn't sent there by the Secretary of State or the President. ? On 9/11 he decided he'd be safer in Benghazi after, repeated attacks on the compound, than in tripoli ? We may never know the answer if Hillary has amnesia I reckon. Bet that woman could tell you who Monica is though. I really wouldn't be surprised if her blood clot causes a stroke or maybe even death. Nothing wrong with starting a new year with a new conspiracy theory.
And Hillary Clinton, by all accounts (including her critics) an accomplished lawyer, is faking sickness because she's scared of testifiying? She doesn't need to dodge tesifiying, she can run rings around the clowns questioning her with a concussion
He's the friggin' ambassador and he can do what he wishes in his country. He was appointed by the President and works for the Secretary of State, but they do not hold his hand on a daily basis. He was working hard to set up an embassy in Tripoli and a consulate in Benghazi in a country that was coming out of a revolution. There are risks in such a situation and he was aware of them. Unlike most ambassadors, he could speak arabic and was comfortable working closely with locals. It is disgusting that the Republicans choose to make divisive mudslinging politics out of this instead of getting behind the nation. And the voters were paying attention.
