Brandon Harris looks like the second coming of Jordan Jefferson. Big arm, athletic but unsure at QB and not too smart. The reason he didn't play last year was he didn't know the playbook. Where is the next Matt Mauck or Matt Flynn? We need guys that can actually learn the playbook. We know how both of those guys did in the stints at QB...National Champs.
I'm not advocating Jennings because we've seen that act too. Why not try to work McMillan into the rotation? He can be much worse than these two.

It was bound to happen sooner or later... He looks nothing like JJ. The stats may look similar as far as passing goes, but if your eyes can't tell you that Harris is better than JJ you may need to get some lasik.

What doesn't look different? Jefferson showed flashes and was athletic but couldn't read defenses. We are seeing the same thing all over again.

I haven't seen Harris skip balls to his receivers. I've seen receivers drop more balls than he has thrown bad passes. I see a guy who is way faster and can throw on the run something Jefferson couldn't do, I see a leader who doesn't put on the Frowny face everytime he fucks up, he has more arm strength and he throws a better ball. I would take Brandon Harris as a sophomore before I would take Jefferson as a senior.

High praise for a guy who was 4-15 for 80 yards against effectively a D2 school.

Easy when at least five of those passes should've been caught. He did not throw 11 bad balls.

I don't understand why Miles doesn't recruit 3 star QB'S that are honor roll students in a good school system (NOT La. public school). Instead he recruits 4 and 5 star running QB'S that don't seem to be quick learners. I'm not ready to give up on Harris, but he looked horrible last night.

Harris just needs confidence in himself. He also needs his coach to have confidence in him. And he needs his receivers to catch the damn ball. Harris is a better passer than JJ.

Seems like Saban goes that route and he doesn't exactly have a sterling record with qbs.
