Having our ex-coach at Bama. A hated rival, within our division having unprecedented success is a difficult pill to swallow. I wont lie, I find it difficult not to measure Miles and LSU to Bama. I also feel thats the mindset of many fans. Saban will make mistakes like he did in '11 but he wont continue to make them. He is driven and focus on the task of week to week improvement and wont accept nothing less. Having that as your measuring stick isnt easy nor necessarily fair because lets be honest. No coach has been as consistent as Saban in any conference, much less the best in the history. Which the SEC has proven the past 7 years. Basically all things are equal across the board between LSU and Bama, except coaching.

Im not at all of the mind set of firing Miles or Chavis. However if I were the AD Id be having a nice chat with Miles and the whole staff. The same replay over and over doesnt cut it. Losing is fine if you play well, but not when you keep losing in the same fashion every damn time. There is also no excuse for the D. A high school team has better tackling than LSU.

We need a new AD. Joe Alleva questioning anyone is hypocrisy at it's finest. I think the media should forget about their precious press passes and ask some tough questions.

I'm not making excuses, I'm making analysis. You are just ranting like a spoiled child. Les said it at halftime . . . The QB made some bad calls. He has three receivers out there and he tried to force it long instead of to the open man. Adjustments were made and MEttenberger did better in the second half. You can't put everything on the head coach if you are paying attention to the football game.

That would be valid except we have been sloppy ALL YEAR. It's not debatable.

The difference with me is that I don't give half a fuck about Nick Saban. I wish the Saban worshippers would just go follow Alabama. Everybody would be happy then.

Still good enough to be a top-5 team if Mettenberger had completed those two endzone interceptions. This team is far from perfect, but so are all other teams. We have outperformed what was expected of us so far this year. Two very close losses is not a disaster.

So we were expected to lose to Ole Miss?

First off Im not a Saban worshipper. I cant stand the man. I give him his due though. He is by far the best coach in the country. Like I said his success is unprecedented so its kind of unfair to use he and Bama as a yardstick. Fact is they are the yardstick, theyre in our damn division. If youre happy finishing second or third every year great.

At some point you have to realize that what youre doing at the end of games isnt working. Yet weve seen the same game replayed 4 times in two years. Insanity, trying the same thing over and over when it doesnt work. Its also maddening watching Miles screw up at the end of every halve and or game. Eventually he has to held accountable.
