Some of you are off your rockers.

Just b/c we are unhappy and "want" more out of our team doesn't mean we aren't real fans.

I'm with you re the coaching issues and not being ready to play. CLM manned up and took the blame. Let me be devil's advocate for a second -- how do we as fans know or don't know what the coaching staff said to Mett after the 1st or even the 2nd interception? Is it possible that he was told to check down and not go for the home run if it wasn't there? In a separate interview after the game, Mett took the blame for the loss. We just don't know if he ignored what he may have been told. Hard to get inside the kid's head, but he obviously had a reason for throwing deep all those times...

Some of you have lost your sense of reality...
Reality: the world or the state of things as they actually exist, as opposed to an idealistic or notional idea of them.

The reality is that, as Red stated, NO team can or will win them all. The notion that they will, or should, is beyond comprehension by any rational individual.
The reality is that its STILL the best time to be a Tiger fan. I shiver at the thought of returning to the early and late 90's.
The reality is that Miles and his staff are excellent recruiters and it is an unenviable task to attempt to replace the talent that departed BR last year immediately.
The reality is that its a GAME. Does anyone on this board feel worse than Mettenberger this morning? I doubt it. Wake up and have a nice cup of reality this morning, gentlemen.

I am not an old timer, I'm not off my rocker and I'm not drinking the Kool-Aid. I'm a 42 year old realist and a huge Tiger fan, no matter their record, and the reality is
is that its a GAME and you WON'T win them all. Blast way, as I know my opinion, in reality, only matters to me and enjoy being miserable the rest of the season.

But you can win them all.

You can win multiple NC's in back to back years.

    We see it. It happens.

But ya'll are right, we should just be happy, fall inline and shoot for average because being the best is too damn difficult.

Saying its just a game means nothing. It is more than a game to most everyone here. If it was just a game, none of us would spend as much time and energy on 1 freaking team.

How many teams other than Bama have a legitimate shot at this realistically?

It's a shame that so called fans go nuts and want to fire the coach after every loss and sometimes even after close wins. Comparing head coaches to the head of a business is also laughable as there really isn't any similarity, thank goodness because no business ever wins in every transaction and we don't need every boss in the world to be fired every time a sales person doesn't win an account.

Hell, if the guys who call for the coaches head were really in charge no one would keep a job. Coaches like Lombardi, Bellichek, Payton, Shula, Bryant, Landry, Saban, Walsh, Lambeau, Stagg, Mckay, etc would all had been fired countless times.

You never fire a coach looking at a small sampling of results, you always look at the big picture while keeping your emotions out of the equation. Whenever a coaching termination happens because of "we are the greatest and should win every game" attitude the program/team suffers.

Most AD's are strong enough that they use reasonable thoughts when making decisions, some others destroyed their programs by listening to the wrong people.

At least 10 have a shot every year. Like I said is extremely difficult. You have to want it and sacrifice for it. Some coaches get it. Others don't.

I truly believe Miles is content. Get 9-10 wins and call it a day. It is clear by how this team is coached.

I am passionate b/c I know we have everything needed to win multiple NC's minus the Head Coach.

But it's ok. I think some people get offended when we say that Miles and company are not the best. They aren't. Doesn't mean we aren't fans.

No one is saying don't be upset and don't question. Some of us are saying it gets funny when you guys are all up on LSU with the believe and we are the best and then a bad game happens and you are like, fuck LSU and LSU sucks, and we are the worst and fire the coach.....

    It's comical bro.

I never said Fire Miles. During a game I will say LSU sucks b/c they DID SUCK last night

    Huge difference.

I just know that we are gimped with Miles. Even if he gets 10 wins a year.

Look no further than the NFL talent we pump out. That is the story right there.
