Nah we realize that, these things happen. Hell I bet some of these scrubs were on the team last year when Ole Miss almost beat us, with a far better defensive unit for LSU. LSU expected to just travel to Mississippi and win and sometimes you can't sleepwalk to a W regardless who you are lining up against.

If we aren't lifting a NC trophy I don't care what the record is.

Expectations are different here than No Name U. With the level of talent we have expectations are NC contender, not 10-2 or worse. I don't care how good or bad we were 20 years ago. We've been NC contenders for 10 years and no one should accept regression. Especially when you can isolate issues directly with the head coach.

Has anyone ever said "Miles coached a good game"? Ever in his 8 years? Because we can sure point out a ton of times he's dropped the ball. No fan should know more about stopping the clock than he head coach, especially not of an elite program like LSU.

It's nice that Miles admits it's his fault. But it's been his fault for awhile now. How many chances have we blown because of the dual headed DC monster, or the Straw-Krag experiment? How many players did we lose last year that were underclassmen because they were sick of the situation on offense? How many of the issues we've had this year. Can be directly pointed back to something Miles has mismanaged. MANY.

He's an emotional recruiter and a good guy that loved his team and players. He is not a head coach. At least not since he lost his fire. He has survived by his recruiting but when the talent is equal he's been outclasses the past 3+ years.

No. He just mismanaged the coaching and not preparing the team for this game so bad that you could put the blame square on his shoulders. All of it. It's your job as a HC to have your team ready. They were not ready to execute and that's. Miles fault. Period.

Missouri lost their starting Qb and still rolled Florida. Florida is full of injuries, Georgia is full of injuries, SC lost Shaw in the game, aTm sucks, what's LSUs excuse for laying this egg? Poor execution? That's MILES.

Then you will never be happy with any team anywhere and can be cheerfully ignored. That is just about the most idiotic thing I ever heard. Maybe you should be a fan of quilting or knitting or something. In sports, you can't win them all. But 80% wins is fucking fantastic.

If your not 1st your last.

Being 1st is the goal of every sport. God forbid the fans expect it as well.

And this isn't baseball where you can lose a few games. Its CFB were 1 loss usually ends your season.

I'm talking about expectations and no one should make excuses. We should be at least competitive and not lay an egg against an Ole Miss. We've routinely done these shorts of things over the past 3+ years.

You're ignoring the rest of my post because you have no argument and just want to make excuses, which is fine if that's you're thing. 80% is a C in school. When you schedule cupcakes and get 5-6 automatic wins every year it doesn't take much to get a few more wins. Especially when you out talent most teams you play. But when the talent is even the team doesn't show up and that's on Miles. Period.

Exactly. Old timers have lower expectations and want to make excuses.

I'm not making excuses. I listed a dozen bad and ugly things that happened yesterday. Children with unrealistic expectations pout and want to take their dollies and go home after every loss like the friggin' sky is falling.

All teams lose some games, understand? All. Teams.
