I've wondered that. myself. Bama has had him on their radar since last spring. He grabbed the starting safety spot midday through his freshman year. Plano Senior High is only 11th and 12th grades, but their feeder high schools (9th/10th grades) can send up their guys to play at the senior high. It rarely happens; they might get called up to play JV at best. Rex Burkhead (Nebraska/Cinncinati) was the last to start as a freshman.

TJ made varsity as a freshman and was starting by midseason. His friend, Brandon, who is being recruited, was JV at Plano Senior as a freshman. Both TJ and Brandon are great kids. They were honors math students in middle school and likely have picked up other honors classes in high school--high character kids from good families who are very smart.

Absolutely. Plano Senior is in the same district as Jamal Adams' alma mater, Hebron High.

 

Carrollton, that's a pretty talent rich area Carrolton, Lewisville, Richardson, Plano, Addison.
