    I don't see how one player can make that big difference in a game like soccer. You don't hear about players taking over games like in the NBA.

    yeah but this is kind of like Shaq signing a contract to come back and play for LSU.

    Beckham is past his prime and as soon as he steps on the field will still be the best player to ever play in the MLS.

    I understand that. But 250 million??? There is no way that he boosts that much revenue for a soccer team.

    The even greater part about all this is that each MLS team only has a $2 million salary cap. Beckham will make $50 million by himself.
