The first half was fun to watch, but a 9 on a scale of 10 is a bit too high. We had 2 huge offensive plays after 2 huge runbacks and a return for a TD. We never had any offensive continuity in that first half to sustain a long drive, and that inconsistency bled over into the 2nd half when the playbook was closed and Les Miles decided we would try to dominate in the run game, with an O-line that can't run block to save their lives. I would say based on the mediocre team we were playing, we were a 7.5 out of 10 in the first half. The return game was sick, sick, sick. I would have taken a 7.5 out of 10 for the entire game. Had that happened, we would have won 51-17.
The first half may have been beautiful, but the half that counts is the second half, and that was U U U U Ugleeey. Les Miles is now officially in the dog house. If this is the best he can muster against a team missing about 20 starters from an ACC team, then LSU won't even match up to SEC opponets.
