The first half was beautiful. Maybe a 9 on the 10 scale. Good execution in all three phases of the game. No coaching blunders that I recall. The second half was about as ugly as it gets. Can't look in the mirror ugly. Outplayed, out coached, and out hustled across the board. Hang on by the fingernails to get the W ugly. You have to give a lot of credit to the Heels. They played their collective a**'s off. Hell of a coaching job also. At the end of the night, it's a W, but a damn ugly W. It's also deja vu all over again. I saw too many things that I saw last year and didn't like. Time to look forward to Vandy. Looks like they played a close, competitive game against Northwestern. Will be interesting to see what the opening line is.
Not very encouraging, I tell you what, not trying to look past vandy, but did anyone see moo state crush who they played? That isn't going to be just a walk in the park, that game frightens me.
Now there's a head coach who gets MORE out of their players than what their talent level probably warrants.
MS looked formidable last year against us, and I think that the games with them in the future are not going to be the cake walks that they have been in the past.
