    Screw public opinion. BDP didn't perform as special teams coach and deserved it. If O listens to the fans on these decisions AND I DON'T THINK HE WILL we have the wrong coach.

    I suspect that he simply sees what we see and hope that O will always put team needs ahead friends.

    My thoughts exactly. We're in trouble if a Coach listens to the fanbase. I believe Coach Oeaux already knows the problem areas, and he's getting to work right away.

    Sometimes it would be wise to listen to the fan base, see Les Miles. However if the coach is so stupid that the fans have a better idea of what's working and what's not, he might not have what it takes to be HC, again see Les Miles.

    O already doing the right thing. I can't imagine there's a player BDP could recruit that O couldn't. This move needed to be made.
