I had OU options until they lost to TT. Again, yesterday I saw LSU trading for $19 @ the half of the WVU game. My wife said "go ahead and buy them" to which I replied "We've already blown about $150, no need to waste another $40" I hate it when my wife is right, but when it deals with sports... And on top of that, gambling and sports! This hurts. Well, as much as going to the Nat'l Championship game can "hurt"
They say that OSU travels very well and this could be one of the most expensive college football tickets of all time.
I bought tickets about two months ago. Luckily the Sugar and BCS came in a bundle, so I had my bases covered.
In 2003, I was one of the ones who tried to pick up two tickets for $275 each from a supposedly reputable seller on this board, if anyone remembers that. Four attempts at charging my card and a cancelled Discover later, I just watched it from home. I really wish I had pulled the trigger at TicketReserve last week for $5. Oops. Now if I could pick up just two tickets. Maybe someone wants a Wii with original box and some games?
well im going to be in NOLA regardless if i get my tickets. i put in for my student tickets. heard a rumor: many students bought tickets to the SECCG but because of the loss to arky, decided not to make the trip to atlanta. seems as if it pissed off someone in the ticket office. So if you bought tickets to the seccg and didnt go, your name is scratched off of the list for the National Championship? if so, more tickets to go around to other students?
I went in 2003. I would not wait until game time. I bought my tickets from a broker about 3 weeks before. The prices never went down! and there were undercover cops all over looking for scalpers because it is illegal.
I recall that seller all too well. Hit my card at least four times as well for 8 tickets worth each time.
I got 2 reserves I'm thinking about selling so I can go down in my RV and tailgate for 4 days!.. haha
