Yes, Tech would threaten Florida more than OU, but I think it would be a fun thing to watch. And if TT would actually BEAT Florida, it would suck for the SEC--but at least, LSU would STILL be the only school with two balls!

I certainly hope Florida makes it to the NCG over Alabama, but there is no way that I would pull for either team to win it all. I would definitely pull for the Big 12 Champ.

TTU vs Florida seems like an ideal match-up. Could make for one exciting game, that's for sure.

I would pull for Tech because I like them very much and are fun to watch and just seem like a great bunch of guys. Coach Leach is definitely a hoot.

And we can't have anyone else with a pair. That's for sure.

Wrong!!! Style points? Texas beat Oklahoma on a neutral field going away. How's that for style points. Towards the end of the game Oklahoma looked whipped, and were. Also Kansas hung 31 on the Oklahoma defense and only 7 against Texas.

Man, I hope TT beats Oklahoma this weekend. If Texas beats A&M I can't see Oklahoma going to the Big12CG or being bumped ahead of Texas in the BCS on style points no matter what they do. BTW Texas has already beaten Oklahoma State and Missouri.

I'm a Texas Tech fan this weekend for sure. Wish the game was in Lubbock so I could see the Masked Rider one more time.

I'm also hoping that TT takes care of business. I think you have to give the defensive edge to TT in this one, okie state only put up 20 (sad to consider that a good defensive effort---but better than Texas' D did.) I also give the offensive advantage to TT. (Stop me if i'm gushing, but Jimeny Christmas, those guys are ridiculous on offense). Oklahoma might be a little more balanced, but Tech doesn't need to run if they can't. You can drop 7 or 8 or bring the house and Harrell burns you nearly every time. Crabtree? fuhgheddaboutit. I don't wanna jinx them, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Tech 42-28.

Probably playing Florida in what would be a very exciting Championship game, (I hope). (k...I wouldn't mind watching Florida get crushed, but that ain't gonna happen).

That said, there's been some speculation that we might end up in the Sugar against Bama. which bowl gets the first at large pick this year? it looks like the other projection (assuming that USC wins the P10) is us in the Fiesta against Texas. Curious.

Does anyone here think the buckeyes would stand a chance against Bama? I would have to say Texas would make me a little more nervous. I'm thinking there's a really good chance that we end up in the Cap One against Georgia (which is a game I feel decent about).

    Thoughts?

If we get beat by Florida and end up in the Sugar Bowl, I would MUCH rather play you guys than freaking Utah. :cuss:

I think that it would be a great matchup. I really want to see Pryor in person...The media would have a great storyline with Julio Jones and Pryor. I think it would be a relatively low scoring ball game with both offenses having troubles moving the ball due to good defense.

If Florida beats us, I am rooting for this one BIG TIME!!!

Bama would be better suited for Ohio State. I think Bama's D could match up well with the Ohio State offense and give Pryor some trouble and force him into mistakes.

Utah is such a wildcard, they could easily beat or get beaten badly by Bama.

They've sniffed a lot harder than you think.

Case of bad memory there, Mr. Peabody... happens to all of us... I know.

2002 we played USC in the Orange Bowl (Ohio State played Miami for the Championship that year.) We were 10-10 with the Boys of Rubber at the half, then a couple of turnovers and we were history.

Nothing against Stoops. He played at Iowa... just listing the facts.. go back and read them again... they won't "change before your eyes".... You should be thankful tOSU "stepped up" and made folks forget your awesome bowl record of late.

The fact that half of the BCS Championship games have been blowouts of one kind or another speaks more to how coaches handle the five to six week layoff than, perhaps, the quality of the athletes on the field. That's one reason I favor a playoff of some kind. I think it would lead to better Championship games due to the constant preparation needs.

If Florida does meet Oklahoma in the big game, I would think Meyer would do more than Stoops during the preparation time. There's some history there... and I say that personally liking Stoops more than Meyer...
