Looks like we will be a strong #1 in this stat too by the end of the year. I also find it interesting that since 1959 LSU has only been ranked #1 in the AP Poll twice: both under Les Miles. Also this week I saw that LSU has been 5-0 with double digit wins in all games only 4 times before. Again, twice under Les Miles. A couple of more years of this and LSU will make people start to forget all about those Dynasty's of the past. Man, I thank God for our CRAZY COACH!
Texas, Ohio State and Florida could all very well lose this week (betting line all in the opponent's favor). LSU could be standing at #1 on this list Sunday morning.
Ohio State still plays great defense, save for the 2nd half meltdown vs Nebraska. I am definitely interested to see them face the vaunted offense of Wisconsin's. And their new QB is actually pretty good that took over for that awful Bauserman dude. But he's still inexperienced. In the end, they won't be a match for Wisconsin.
Updated through 10/22/11 With an Ohio State loss this weekend to Wisconsin, LSU would take over the #1 spot.
All these stats show is what we already know! LSU is THE PREMIER PROGRAM in college FB today! But to be fair, Florida is right there (unless we get three crystals) and Bama was getting close also ... Time for Lesticles to put his foot on the gas and get himself a big fat $2 MM USD / year raise from $4 MM to $6 MM
