They get a game against a really good team that will never be reflected that way in public opinion. If they win, congradulations, they beat a WAC (or is it Mountain West?) team. If they lose, then they get crucified like OU a couple years ago and Oregon earlier this year. There is nothing to be gained by playing Boise State.

Better call LSU AD they already have home/home scheduled with TCU.

I think it would be fantastic for the Pac 10 to expand to 12 teams and admit Boise St. and Utah. But what does the conference have to gain by admitting Boise St. and Utah? Nothing. The current member schools would never agree to it (I wouldn't either). I seriously doubt it will ever happen, but I guess it's possible.

And as much as I cant stand the Trojans, I give credit where it's due. They have had one of the better OOC schedules of any top team in recent years.

A wacky idea that would never fly but I think would be cool is relegation. The team that comes in last each year in each BCS conference gets relegated to a second tier conference. The champion of those lesser conferences gets to step up to play with the Big Boys. If they avoid being last they stay. It's impractical for a host of reasons but I think it would make for some interesting NCAA football each year.

Some years ago Arizona & ASU were in the Mountain West or whatever and they were admitted to the Pac 10. I don't know if they would admit Utah & Boise St probably due to stadium size & area population. As someone else said $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Besides everyone else in the conference would probably object to Boise's damn blue turf.

Another one that missed the boat. That's great they played one quality team and got a win. It's easy to get fired up to play that one good team a year. Try playing multiple quality teams each year and see what the overall record looks like. I'm not saying that some of these teams you mention aren't really good. I'm saying the odds of them earning their way in to the BCS by playing multiple quality teams every year will go waaaaay down. Stevie Wonder could see that. If they are so sure that they could earn their way in playing quality teams start playing them and quit bitching!
