Hey, you're right, good thing we weren't playing Mississippi State or Auburn... right? Perhaps playing the Razorbacks would eliminate the "playing farmboys" image.

All I know is I'm gonna sue ESPN for using videos of corn fields and hog farms to stereotype Iowa during our games. Unless, of course, ESPN agrees to compromise by showing gang violence and drive-by shootings when they do USC/UCLA or FSU/Miami games.

Gary Danielson will be doing everything in his power to promote a 1 loss LSU team over an undefeated Iowa, TCU, Boise State or Cincy should it get to that point.

A lot of people don't like Danielson, but he is true blood SEC through and through.

I was just making a joke, SEC fans are kind of used to 'questionable' officiating, especially this year. Meant no disrespect. Like others have said, if Iowa goes undefeated, they will have earned a national title shot. Winning at Wisconsin, Penn State, and Ohio State (if the Hawkeyes can do it) is not easy even when those teams are having a down year.

I never really doubted that Iowa would lose this game. I live in the middle of Spartan country and have a certain affinity for Mich. St. so I am still a little bitter about the last :02 second loss from the previous week.

    Hijack over.

I'm sick of hearing about how we're all from a bayou, so I know what you're talking about. I, for one, am NOT a Bayou-Bred Cajun from the "swamp".

Just for the record. Most of us aren't from the swamp. That's just where we get our food and have our fun. :hihi:

for the record, any undefeated team from a bcs conference should go to the NC ahead of any team with a loss.
