Experience, experience, experience. Bama is running defensive packages that we couldn't get done last year. I see a strong O-line that has dominated every game. No entitlement issues because of youth and recent NC success. In short, no comparison.

Great teams do great things in the biggest moments. Frankly, Alabama and LSU are now going to get an opportunity to see who rises to that occasion. This game reminds me a lot of the way the 09 SECCG shaped up. The only shame is it's not in Atlanta.

Sword fighting aside, I cannot see a one loss BCS team jumping a one loss Bama or LSU team. Think Florida vs Florida State 1996.

Oh neither can I but I never thought I'd see an undefeated SEC team sit out either. I quit trying to guess what this system will do.

Don't just ignore the 08 game which pitted a 1 loss Florida vs an undefeated #1 ranked Alabama team. Florida 31, Alabama 20.

That game was just as big and just as intriguing.

Why would this game remind me of 2008 SECCG? My reminders are better trained than that.

Since LSU is ranked #1 it wouldn't be an upset if the Tigers beat Bama, Destiny can not be changed at this point.

Yes. They will not send a one-loss Bama or LSU (who won't even play in the conference championship game) to the BCS NCG if there is an undefeated opponent available. JMO

But they will send an OU team in 03 who lost their conference championship game to Kansas State? I believe it was Kansas State anyway. Just crossed my mind.
