I could hardly believe some of the things they were saying either. I figure they're marketing other possibilities or playing to fans across a broader spectrum to keep them on the edges of their seats.

    Correct.

If they just read off the list of the top 10 BCS teams and that was the highlight of the show, nobody would watch.

They need to stir it up and give all the what ifs.

It's why they have the show in the first place.

    Who is on the show?

I can tell you Robert Smith is definitely anti-LSU. He's a douche.

My guess is that Craig James is on the LSU bandwagon from comments I heard lately.

Yeah, couldn't remember the names. Robert Smith hates him some LSU. The rest I think were just stirring the pot, I don't think they care one way or the other.

I think it depends upon who we lose to. Obviously, we all agree that LSU should not have a problem with Ole Miss. So it comes down to arky and then probably uga if we beat arky and uga beats KY jelly.

If we lose to Arky, Arky and Bama could be ahead of us in the BCS polls. That could leave us out of any BCS bowl game if the SEC West rep wins the SECCG. Obviously, I am assuming that LSU losing to Arky costs us a place in the SECCG. Still fluid situation.

They do this every year, we just don’t know because it hasn’t been talked about LSU before.

It’s their job to put together every scenario. Its more than just LSU fans tuning in, every one loss teams fan group is wanting to know "How do we back door our way in there" its espn's job to let them know.

    ESPN loves drama.

Before the show airs, each analysts picks a team, and bring his scenario on how and why they get there and win out. It’s all about drama and ratings

    Calm down people

All we have to do is WIN, who cares about anything else?

I sure as hell don’t. When it’s all said or done, they will ALL either be for LSU or against LSU, but either way, the focus will still be on LSU

SEC west title game winner would play in the NC game.....then the sugar bowl would pick the next sec team.....they do not have to go by bcs ranking.....lsu/ ark/ or bama......I think they take lsu, because lsu would pack the house.

Probably, but not guaranteed and that is what people are worried about. The scenario would be this:

Arky beats LSU and goes to SECCG and wins. Or somehow Bama gets in under the tie-breaker rules and wins. In the first scenario, the BCS could take Bama over LSU on the theory that Bama beat Arky. In the second scenario, they take Arky over LSU because Arky beat LSU.

These may not be the most likely scenario, but it is a bit unsettling that after all we have been through this year, the only thing we are currently guaranteed of is A Bowl. That's it. Lots of unfinished work.

In one aspect its what makes the College football regular season beautiful, EVERY game counts.

On the other, its the hipocrocy of College Football(if thats even a word)

In no way, shape pr form should we

    A: Lose to Arkansas
B: Assume we do, have to sit while Bama or Oregon get a shot

Personally, Oregon and Bama had their shot! Its why the Regular Season means so much!

    I am sticking with

    LSU vs. OKST/OU (winner)
